Baileyville Reformed Church was organized on October 29, 1884 as a daughter church of Silver Creek Reformed Church in German Valley. The church was started by German immigrants and services were conducted in German until 1932. In 1913, the church was struck by lightning and burnt to the ground. It was rebuilt the same year. Over the years, BRC has sought to be a witness for Christ in the community of Baileyville and the surrounding area. By God’s grace, we look forward to many more years of effective gospel ministry in Northern Illinois.
